I have been a teaching assistant for Numerical Computing (EE103) and Principles of Feedback Control (EE141) for several quarters at UCLA.
I have been greatly inspired and influenced by good teachers throughout my life and now that I teach, I find it among the most fulfilling experiences.
I especially enjoy being the TA of numerical computing with Professor Lieven Vandenberghe who is also on my PhD committee. The course covers material in linear algebra, matrix factorizations, linear and nonlinear least squares, problem conditioning, complexity of matrix algorithms, newton’s method, and simple optimization.
In 2012, I received the UCLA Henry Samueli Excellence in Teaching Award.
